WHO TO CALL IN A CRISIS

Crisis situations don't always come up during school hours. Here are resources if you find yourself in a crisis and need help, available when and how you need it. 911 is always an option if there is an imminent threat of danger to yourself or others - this can include domestic abuse, suicidal thoughts, a threat of violence on social media. 988 is the number for mental health emergencies. Stay safe, and keep me updated if there is anything I can do to help.

Many of these hotlines are 24/7 so you can call when you need to. If it feels unsafe to call, click on the photos for links to websites where you can learn more about supportive services or chat virtually with a crisis counselor. If you don't get through on your first call, don't give up - you are not alone and I encourage you to call 911 or try a different hotline until you are connected with someone.
